I'm Heidi. I'm raising my grandson Bentley as my own — he calls me Mom, because that's exactly who I am. Bentley lives with Type 1 Diabetes, autism, and ADHD, and everything here was born out of our real days — the hard mornings, the site changes, the small wins that nobody else sees.
That's why I'm writing a middle-grade fantasy adventure series with a brave autistic, ADHD, Type 1 Diabetic boy as the hero — because I want kids like mine to see themselves as powerful, not broken.
